OUR ANIMALS
We farm our own herd of pigs, mainly Berkshire, supporting Rare Breeds.
Although we are only on a small scale, we serve the local community and farm our
animals using the best possible free range and ecologically sound practices.
Our Duroc boar is quite well connected, his brother being the boar that serves the
Queen's herd.
Our male Alpacas are called Snowman, Sundance and Solo, we intend to build up a breeding herd
that will enable us to produce more wool.
We have a small herd of Dexter cattle. Once tasted you will always come back for more.
To suppliment this, we have available meat from organic South Devon cross.
We have a flock of traditional English breeds of hens who enjoy an abundance of free range pasture.
They can run, scratch, peck and dust bathe to their heart's content.
They are producing approx. 60 eggs per day.
